WIP330

It has always been possible to add or remove both ringtones and desktop wallpaer on the WIP330. This has been made much easier with the latest update which now includes a simple editing application built into the GUI and accessible with you PC web browser.

Prior to firmware version 1.02.00 it is necessary to upload or delete files with Microsoft Activesync application directly into the Windows folder.


With firmware version 1.02.00 and later you can upload or download directly from the GUI.



Audio files must be in WAV format and be 256K or smaller

Wallpaper files must be i 240 x 320 .bmp. format and again be 256K or smaller. Dimensions are automatically compressed to fit the screen so experiment to get the best crop.

In the latest firmware you can preview files with the editor accessible by pressing the highlighted text: Go to Delete File in the bottom right of the Download & Upload GUI screen.
Personally I find it easier to use external applications to fine tune the images or audio files.
