A few things to try.

1. Power off the phone and wait a few minutes. Connect the phone up again. You may have to repeat this several times. WIP330 user Adam tells me this solved the problem for him. However, it may still randomly return.

2. Factory Reset the phone: Menu/Phone Settings/Factory Default. This will erase all your network, SIP and Phone Book settings. so make a note of them first. Saving the settings as a file and reloading them later is quicker but may also restore the problem...

3. Try cleaning inside the headset socket with Jet Air or similar canned compressed air of the sort used to clean photographic and computer hardware.

4. Upgrade the WIP330 to the latest firmware. This can solve a wide range of problems.
